Alerting is hard, most people get it wrong. Let's talk about actionable alerting
Many people buy into the idea that they should monitor everything and alert on everything. This leads to alert fatigue and ultimately is counter productive. A better approach is to strip out all of the alerts and build them from the ground up, only introducing alerts that are meaningful and actionable. Let's chat about alerting from an SRE's perspective and how you can reduce the noise and get at the data that really matters!
