How to Read Books Better with Calibre
06-08, 13:00–13:50 (EST5EDT), Rocky Linux (BallroomB)

Reading has never been easier. We are living in a golden age of information access, and software tools like Calibre, a FOSS digital library, combined with online archives make this a great time to become an avid reader.

This talk will cover the technology behind e-readers, the program Calibre, and online (copyright-free) digital archives, including torrents and IPFS.
It will also be a demonstration on how to (legally) obtain eBooks, clean and convert them with Calibre, and how to load them onto your e-reader of choice.
