Uncover statistical truths behind xkcd comics, all while learning the correct statistical methods to resolve the issues in the webcomic strips
In this presentation, we will discuss important statistical principles, illustrating each one through a comic strip from xkcd. You will discover whether using Firefox leads to involvement in Wicca, identify your statistically significant other, and learn that green jelly beans do not, in fact, cure acne. Finally, for each complex scenario, I will demonstrate the appropriate statistical methods that should be applied to address the issues raised by Randall Munroe in his webcomic strips.
